Tracing
We do not rely solely upon computers in order to trace debtors who have absconded - unlike the majority of tracing agents. We do employ the latest technologies and techniques but we will always endeavour to confirm a trace address by other means. This may require a personal visit to the absconder's new address.
Successful Debt Recovery
A successful debt recovery strategy requires detailed knowledge of your customer's present situation. What are Debtors assets? What is Debtors income and weekly expenditure by individual item? Is there indebtedness to others? Are they being paid and, if so, how much are they being paid?
These and other questions are asked when we call upon your customer at home thus enabling you to devise a specific strategy for recovery. This may well include assistance in the preparation of docuements and process serving.
Means Reports
DAVIS COLEMAN will visit your customers in their own homes to determine their present circumstances and provide a comprehensive report covering your customer's employment situation, residential status, assets and liabilities together with income and expenditure. We will endeavour to obtain firm but realistic repayment proposals.
Pre-Repossession Reports
If you are considering repossessing property held as security, we are able to furnish full details of the present occupants, their ages and state of health. We will determine if they have any alternative accommodation available.
We will report on the condition of the property and whether there are any onerous liabilities.
Repossessions
On your behalf we undertake both voluntary and Bailiff attended repossessions. We will change all locks and secure the property from unauthorised entry, drain down the hot and cold water systems and record the service readings. We will also make a full inventory of all items remaining on the property and give an indication of its general condition.
We can also assist in other forms repossessions for vehicles or other goods where title has not passed.
Insurance Claims
We can work with you to produce the style of witness statements, scene of accident reports RTA Locus Quo reports that you require; from the very basic through to a quality product to help prove the case. If you are not sure of the validity of the a claim we can undertake discreet or interview enquiries or extended surveillance to assist in your decision making.

They can be forwarded either direct to the DAVIS COLEMAN office nearest to your customer, to the DAVIS COLEMAN regional office nearest to your instructing office or forwarded direct to our central operations department for onward transmission.
For large volumes, we can arrange collection from your offices by the nearest DAVIS COLEMANregional office.
